Look Out Kauai?

We awake this morning to see Niu Poni pulling farther away from Niu Melemele and Niu `Alani. In fact, Niu Poni is about 24 miles away from the others, which are still less than 3 miles apart even after traveling for over 100 miles.

But the big story, as the map shows, is that the Niu devices are continuing in their paths towards Kauai and Ni`ihau, which are just about 50 miles away. Will the Niu’s continue to split farther apart, perhaps even passing Kauai on different sides of the island? Will Niu Poni follow the path of Niu Oma`oma`o and head north? At 10-15 miles per day, it seems we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out. So, be sure to check back regularly and find out what will happen!
