Niu Melemele Breaks Free

After spending several days circling in the same location south of Kauai, Niu Melemele has broken free and is back on the same path as the other two Niu’s, albeit about 130 miles behind. Niu Melemele is now at roughly the same longitude as Nihoa Island, the easternmost of the Northwest Hawaiian Islands.
