| WHAT I LEARNED AND LAUNCHING THE NIU |
|
Hi everyone! Today we launched the Niu at Waimea Bay.
Hi everyone! We launched the Niu at Waimea Bay. I had so much fun at the beach. In my group I had very funny people. The sad thing is that we had to say bye to the Niu. Since we said bye that means we pretty much have to observe where it goes almost every day (just kidding, but around there) What I learned from Niu is one, we shouldn't think that just because it is not our trash lying on the floor we shouldn't pick it up. Another thing is that if you say you don't litter at all, that is probably a lie because probably at least everyone in their entire life would at least litter once. I say this because I admit I did on accident (or something like that) but that is because I am not perfect and neither is any of you (unless you are perfect then it's different). Also that our actions affect everyone and not just marine life, but everyone. By if you and I keep on doing harmful things to marine life then there might be no more marine life which affects our life system too. Also the reason for this project is that it shows us where our trash (that doesn't end up in an animals body) ends up. This is important because if we keep on doing our bad habits then the world might just end in a couple of years. I now sort of understand what Mr. Korsak is telling us on how our actions affect everyone around us. He keeps on saying that the way that everything is going to, our world might just end. But I don't want that to happen because there are so many things that I want to see. So this is important that we pay attention on this project and work over the small mistakes and holes. So that this world will become a more better place to live in.
In conclusion, no one is perfect in every way. There are many things to fix up in our society and in our every day lives. We can start by just picking up trash and it should not matter that if it is ours or not. Also weren't we meant to be here for a reason. I want to find and work for that special reason for the rest of my life. I also hope that the people that are reading this can help out too. Thank you very much
