The Niu is going to be labeled so that people know who set it loose (you!) and why (to learn about where the water, trash, and runoff from Hawaii goes when it enters the ocean... and to have some fun learning about ocean processes!). So hopefully if anyone catches it, encounters it, or finds it on a beach, they will admire it and send it on its merry way. If worst comes to worst and the Niu gets stuck, our team of engineers can track it and re-release it. Fortunately they are good swimmers, although J is trying to get us to buy him a jetski :)
