Today our class went on a field trip with none other than Kawananakoa middle school and we learned about the project Niu device which we have been researching and we did a worksheet about watershed, ahupuaha and described the surroundings around us and how we could improve the beach's trash problem and even help reduce the pollutants found in the ocean and investigated by testing the waters with different chemical PH balances.

Type something up!
Submitted by SkyNiu on Thu, 12/04/2008 - 5:52pmKorsak's class, type something up! I'm tired of seeing only students of Yamgata's class only write. Only like 2 people in our class write! If Korsak does end up checking up on our forum thing, we're going to end up in deep trouble! Try to get something please!
Field trip
Submitted by SkyNiu on Thu, 12/04/2008 - 5:47pmOn December, KMS students have gone to the the beach! We got to see such beautiful scenery and got very nice pictures. Anyway we learned quite alot of things. We found out how the new Niu is much different from the old one. Plus we had to do alot of note taking. I enjoyed although it was very hot. Plus after lunch we had a big beach clean up! Tons of students were collecting trash all over the trash. The beach looked terrible. My team went really far and found alot of trash! We tried to get the trash and collect.

Well, the answer is longer than you might think. But it is also a really incredible, and extremely interesting project.
