The field trip we took to the water shed was very intresting.  I come from KMS, Mr. Yamagata's class.  The people in my group were Autumn, Jodie, Crystal and myself.  We picked up trash, learned about the water cycle and saw the the niu item.  Thank you projectniu!!!!!!!!!!

THE CLEAN UP.

Published in

On December third we had left to clean up the beach and my group had learned alot of the earth alot. We learned that if we didn't liter and do all the things we do now we won't have global warning. We could all die, and have no live on earth if we keep this up. I also learned that we call it the leeward and winward side because wind travel to windward and the leeward side wind passes.

kualoa park... i think

i learned that the new nui looks like a clear sphere with a ring around it with lots of electronics in it and that a phone can use gps to find a chemical compound and how much of it. and ifwe launched the niu at kualoa beach park , the niu wont go anywhere. and the reef.... wont help the niu also at the beach the are many pieces of trash like nets and plastic and other things from far away from this island.

Just What is Project Niu All About?

A lot of people have asked me about Project Niu, and just what is it? Is it an excuse to go the beach? To play with really cool toys? To make kids do science homework?

Well, the answer is longer than you might think. But it is also a really incredible, and extremely interesting project.

The sensors

I was wondering if the light sensors are waterproof.

If so, would it matter if the sensor broke out of the container somehow?
